So I’m going to get my own phone plan Friday

Has any bought the new Galaxy S III? I have the first one, and was going to upgrade to the Galaxy S II, but those S III’s look pretty sharp. I just don’t want to spend $200 on a phone and it not be all that I expected. I can get the iPhone 4 for like $99, but I don’t know about that either. HELP! Also, which company do you guys go through? I’m looking for an inexpensive route since I am a single mom, but I need a smartphone due to work email and things of that nature.
